"The room was i little bit dirty and the bathroom was the worse"

"It was adequate for a night ; I wouldn't suggest staying any longer than that. The mattresses seemed to be new but were very hard, not good for side sleepers. It is in the process of renovation but has a lot of work still needed, particularly the bathroom. The pool was also out of order. Eat somewhere else. The bar was understaffed with only a single worker acting as both bartender and waiter. Management just stood there givng the poor guy a nasty look without help or direction. Food tasted...

The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. "Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. Also the 3rd bedroom and the second bathroom are downstairs. There was also a great deal of noise down in that bedroom, from either the air conditioner and or the plumbing. "This was the second time we’ve rented this cabin. Very nice and well appointed. Location is great. Paved driveway that isn’t steep. Owner always very responsive to questions. "

The owners have thought about almost everything. I would recommend putting a rug or boot tray by the door to help contain the mess of snowy boots in the winter. "Upon arrival we found mouse droppings throughout most of the kitchen drawers with chewed up paper towels. The home was very dusty and there was dog hair under couches, stairs, and around fire place. The home had lots of space and beautiful surroundings. With a deep clean and routine maintenance it would be a great place. Communication from host was good but we weren’t satisfied with how they handled our concerns. "
