"Just returned home from my stay at this property and I must say that I totally enjoyed it. The house is air conditioned and comfortable and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. If excersize walking is your thing, this particular neighborhood is ideal. You can walk within the neighborhood comfortably-- no need to go to the main road. In addition to everything stayed before, the owner and on-island contact are pleasant and respond quickly to inquiries. All in all, great place, nice stay!"

"Overall our stay at the property and in the Lighthouse was very pleasant and enjoyable. It was very quiet so it was like having a private beach. "Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

She has special touches such as a welcome card, local fruits & bottled water upon arrival. You also have access to her tea garden near the rear door. "We loved Marva’a house. If we are back in Nevis, will definitely stay there again. The house is spacious and very comfortable. One of three bedrooms does not have an AC unit, but has two fans including a ceiling fan. The property is big and very well maintained. There are several fruit trees including at least two types of mangoes. Since we were visiting at the end of May, we got to taste the mangoes and had them for breakfast every morning.
