"The accommodations in the old mill are fabulous! Updated rooms with antique furnishings. Heat and AirCon. Lovely sound of the weir. I requested a "river view room if possible" and got the best room on the premises! The grounds are well tended & include riverside dining, lawns, sun deck, hot tub, and a tiny sauna with a river view. Excellent for a getaway holiday. Having a car or a bicycle would increase the options for activities and dining. Tho the hotel chef is top notch and the food...

"If you are looking for quiet luxury, a picturesque setting, and proximity to a forest trail with access to the Seine, then look no further than this spot in the valley. The host is fluent in 3 languages, the room is perfectly appointed, and the pool and lounge areas are a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was perfectly simple French Village style, and enjoyed best on the patio. If you want to avoid the over priced B and Bs of Giverney, or the cookie cutter hotels of Vernon, this is the place...

"Der var heldigvis en elektrisk varmeovn som vi måtte benytte os af på værelset. Morgenmaden var god. Kroen ligger smukt ned til Floden Seinen. Vi var bekymret for støj fra togene. Jernbanen ligger meget tæt på, men det var acceptabelt."

"Our hosts, the owners of the property, Philippe and Francois, were excellent. The property has a main home designed after George Washington’s Mount Vernon home. There are a number of cottages also, as well as a horse stable where the owners keep their horses which they train, on the property, for equestrian events. The property is a 15 minute drive from Giverny and Monet’s house and gardens. An excellent stay to couple with that visit. We hope to return some day!"

"Room was clean. People weee nice. But AC did not work. We let the generator ent desk know right away. They said technician will fix. But we had to stay with out AC through out and it was super hot. It was hard to sleep / stay in the room."

"What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. "Appartement correct bien situé mais sans aucune vue dégagée dommage. Par contre, au niveau vaisselle, il y a peu de couverts, pas de casseroles et le four est sale. Le lave vaisselle n'est pas très efficace. Il n'y a pas 6 chaises alors qu'on peut y dormir à 6. Pour un séjour d'un WE, c'est pas terrible. On s'est adapté."
