Pretty decent

It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. I would stay there again because it was decent. It just wasn’t great, but the price is low. And you get what you pay for in this case you get more than you pay for because it’s very low price!!! I have to say I recommend this place!! it’s pretty good actually.

A nice place to stay

I always enjoy my stays at Marvin Garden’s when I visit Southfield. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable at a reasonable price. It’s conveniently located by shopping centers, restaurants, pubs & sports bars and it’s right off the expressway.

Din't get the cheapest rooms!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nonconsecutive nights, in 2 different rooms. The issues were the same. While the bathroom looked remodeled, the shower doors were nearly immovable. The shower stall was moldy. The body sprays did not work. The toilet seat was very loose. Several drawers would drop down once opened in the dresser and might stands. The blinds were nearly impossible to open and close. The bed mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were not. There were no hangers in the 2 closet rods. The wifi worked well. There was no staff except in the morning, so it was difficult to report on the issues. I had seen better reviews of this hotel and decided to try it. Maybe it was because I chose the cheapest room.

I had a very nice time the guys that supposed to clean wrong. They did what they were supposed to Note that they cleaned my room while I was there but changing other tiles other than that small nobody bother me. I did have a smoke room so I’m very I enjoyed it and my next day I will be staying there again thank you for even having.

Sam the GM was very helpful during check-in , the room was clean , no bugs, & was near freeway & plenty restaurants. My boyfriend thought it was weird to have to the microwave & fridge in bathroom but overall it was a good stay.

Comfortable stay

The staff were very friendly & outgoing! That was very much appreciated. The bathrooms were updated & clean. The beds were clean & comfortable. The refrigerator in our room was iced over on the freezer. A cloth chair in our room was very dirty looking. We would stay there again for the staff & cleanliness of what I mentioned.
