Desk staff are wonderful, very friendly & kind. My guess is that maintenance staff are doing what they can but are underfunded and under-staffed. I only chose this place due to its location.

Staff was polite and quick. Room just looked dirty and unkempt. Floors were sticky Dresser was broken and dirty with a bit a garbage inside. Whole room lacked basic cleaning

The property was a perfect location to where I needed to be in Detroit but the staff at night was the worst. If you do not prepay your room, regardless if you reserve on here. If someone comes in and pays. They give away your reservations, heard it from the New Managers mouth. I was lucky to still have mine when I arrived. But again, I got lucky. It’s sad my reservation meant nothing, it wasn’t pre-paid.

1st off staff was very helpful. Hotel is run down, but at least it was mostly clean. Mostly clean except for the small carpets around the beds. They smelled of smoke/urine. Booked via hotels.com but could have had a better price booking at the hotel at the time of check in.

Decent for price

Overall experience was ok! Check in was easy a $50 cash deposit was needed and was return to me during check/out . More quite then I Expected from previous reviews . Room was clean but room smelled like old mop water. wifi, tv, & bed was great! My only complaint was the passing roaches i experienced in the middle of the night. Establishments that house customers &/or pet friendly should do more Exterminating.

There wasn’t any bad experience at the hotel in fact I forgot my phone in the service area and the worker found us and gave it back. But the area it self didn’t feel to safe and it wants dirty but you can definitely tell it wasn’t the cleanest. There wasn’t any good places to eat either and it look run down as well

I did not finish my stay I've been in older hotels that are a little beat up but in working condition and clean this place should have not had anyone in this room the only thing I can say nice is the bed was comfortable and the shower head worked perfectly. I have a video to show all the things that are just wrong. I know i lost 60 dollars but it was worth it to Leave.

Quiet area but the room was not good

Well the it was about 15 minutes before the attendant got to the front desk and it was well after 3:00 p.m. when I got there the room was absolutely horrible while the attendant was very nice the room definitely needs to be upgraded that room shouldn't even be printed out to anyone the paint was chipping and cracking on the ceiling and the walls in the bathroom the room just looks very very low budget and I know it's the Red roof inn but I have stayed at some nice Red roof inns I did call about switching the room because I wanted to inquire about a room with a microwave and refrigerator which is crazy to me because most hotels have microwaves and refrigerators included but I guess it is what it is I will say the area was pretty quiet but besides the attendant being nice and the area being quiet that's about it oh yeah and the TV stand had a big board screwed over it so I don't know what was behind there that was crazy to me the TV kept going out on stations so the amenities just were not up to par at all
