"Ok so I did NOT pay attention when booking this place. It ended up being a fine stay, but we were a little shocked on check in. It felt a little like summer camp, primitive even, but all things considered we were there for 1 night so it was fine. If you stay in the lodge rooms, there is no air conditioning. It was hot when we first arrived, but it cooled down at night and was tolerable and even chilly so not the end of the world. The bathrooms were shared like a hostel but they were very clean and well appointed. There is little to no WiFi, at first we were struggling but actually we took the opportunity to talk and kind of spend some undistracted time with each other. The other couple we were traveling with said their door did not have a functioning padlock, just the chain. There are very few restaurants or convenience stores around unless you travel back to Prospect. There is one restaurant with good food but it closes at 8. There’s an ice cream shop but it closes at 5. I throw this information out there as helpful tips but overall for the price, the area, and for 1 night it was sufficient and worked out fine."
Newer 3-bedroom cabin in fantastic Two Rivers North, free WiFi
10/10 Excellent
"Extremely clean and the layout made it very easy for everyone in our group to hang out around each other without feeling like we were “on top of” each other. AND the trees - so beautiful and the area was so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again."
Umpqua National Forest Cabin #8 – Near Crater Lake & Umpqua Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Was a good place to spend a night after a full day at Crater Lake. Would have liked to explore the area more if our trip allowed more time for it. The campground was nice and well maintained. Bathroom had nice tiled showers with good hot water. The unit itself is not much but is as advertised. Appreciated the water jug that was set-up in there. Was cool dipping the toes in the nearby river in the morning."
Umpqua National Forest Family Glamping Tent Homesteader - Near Crater Lake & Umpqua Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Wow! This location has a sweet (not so) secret swimming hole. It's not far from the natural hot springs, and it has a ton of opportunities for water sports (rafting, swimming, etc.). The glamping tents are clean, have great coffee, electricity, and even have a heater/cooling system. We stayed with our grown sons and there was plenty of room for everyone."
Umpqua National Forest Cabin #3 – Near Crater Lake & Umpqua Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and quiet. No internet unless you pay for wifi so a good place to be unplugged. Hot springs aren't far and are warm and comfortable. Recommend to bring something to put your clothes in to keep them dry. It is a hike to get to them."
"Friendly helpful people running this location. The Fairytale Cabin was just as described. We had everything we needed in a compact well thougt out design."
