"When I arrived at front desk to check in, nobody was there. A staff member was putting out water and doing things in the lobby. She never made eye contact or said a word to me. This went on for several minutes so I assumed she was not the front desk person. Soon she went behind the front desk and just looked at me. I said checking in and gave my last name. She said “just a minute” She was rather abrupt. All I would have wanted was “I’ll be with you in a minute”. It just wasn’t a great way to begin our stay. "
