"Pool was awesome"

"Everything was great. The only flaw….the room smelled very musty. To the point we went and bought air freshener. We have stayed at the All Star Resorts over the last 10 years and this is the only time we have experienced that."

"Great location—very convenient for getting around. Unfortunately, the service has noticeably declined since our last stay two years ago. One of the most frustrating issues was that the coffee machine was out of service for nine consecutive days. On top of that, since food isn’t allowed in the rooms, we had to go up to the room to use the microwave and then come back down to eat, which was highly inconvenient. Housekeeping was also disappointing. The cleaning staff asked us to gather and arrange all dirty towels and garbage ourselves, as they said they wouldn’t handle it. Even when we raised concerns with the manager, the response was always that they would “check what happened,” but no action ever followed. Basic upkeep was neglected—despite the room being empty during the day, no one checked or replenished essentials like shampoo or soap. Hygiene was another major concern. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the overall cleanliness of the room was far below expectations. The shower tub drainage was poor, causing water to collect and drain very slowly. To make matters worse, the hairdryer provided was clearly damaged—burned out and making a loud, unpleasant noise like a power tool. Overall, this stay was a significant letdown compared to our previous experience."

"AC would reset at night after you manually set it making room stuffy. Had to get up multiple times during the night to reset to cool. Pool is big, but not too kid friendly, better to go to a water park. There is no fridge in room so if you need to store anything like milk, it will go bad. Fridge temp averages 45 to 47 degrees. Our room bathroom door did not lock so it made it a challenge to chase kids out of it. Laundry room is convenient and inexpensively. Food idea if you have kids is Golden Corral. You will save money and kids have a different choice each visit. Rental vehicle will save you time, but if you want to save money then take the shuttles to parks. There is a McDonalds near the resort that you can visit for breakfast each morning. It's inexpensive, convenient, kid friendly and clean. Get the app if you plan on going each day."

"You have to level set with yourself if you stay here; if you’re looking for a place to rest your head for a few nights, grab a quick bite and mostly not be there, you’ll do great. However, if you want to feel at home for a stay, this is not for you. The lobby gives a great welcome with a view of one pool, a Dunkin, bar and restaurant. Once you pass that area, the story changes; the cleanliness declines dramatically and the areas under renovation increase. We had to change our room 3x before finding one that was tolerable. Tolerable meant accepting dirty carpets and a bathroom that could use some love. The staff was friendly in making the switches. No problems with the staff or commons areas. The rooms were just not up to par despite the bed being comfortable."
