Clean room, friendly staff, didn’t have food so can’t comment. Bar staff were lovely though. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Good price room, would have preferred room away from front/bar, but that’s a very minor detail

Rooms are clean but dated, floors throughout are creaky. The shower took 10mins to get hot, such waste of water. I ordered starter and main course they came out together, the starter was nice and fresh, I think the main course was kept warm and not cooked fresh as I sent it back. Breakfast was good and cooked fresh so it takes time to arrive.

The family room we were put in was awful. The smell was horrendous and we were unable to stay in there..however the staff were very helpful and moved us to a newer room and provided us with a put up bed. I would not stay in this hotel again as I feel it didn't anywhere meet it's description..we were very disappointed. However the staff were super and very helpful l.

Staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived on E-bikes which were safely stored overnight inside. The room was large as was the bed and the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished and done well. The bath may have not been replaced but it was an old style traditional bath so may have been left for effect. We had an evening meal with friends here and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Staff were super friendly. Bar was fine and very lively. Room was a decent size but a little stuffy and hot. The hotel is a little dated but fine for a couple of nights. If you can get at a reasonable price then worth it for a night or two.

Great Location

The hotel is in a great location for Diss and it's restaurants and shops. It's seen better days and could use a lick of paint here and there but it's comfortable and good value.

The room was cold and the radiator couldn't be switched on. There was a constant clanging noise all night, presumably from the plumbing. Even after running the tap for 10 minutes, the hot water was tepid and too cold to shower.
