"This is a very beautiful property, built around the nature and with a logoon extending into the property. Plenty of amenities to enjoy, rent and view. The highlights were the marine life that you can view in the lagoon including dolphins, turtles, manta rays and fishes. The pool is large and is fun for families and kids. Also there is plenty of native Hawaiian, Pacific islander, Burmese, Than and Indian art pieces ardonened throughout the property. A few pieces that can be better. The AC in the room was not effective and several families had to ask the hotel staff for fans. The house keeping of the rooms were not clean always and you had to ask for decent cleaning of the rooms. The tram was functional only on part of the property and the boat canal was not working. Finally the food at KPC was super disappointing. Highly recommend skipping KPC in favor of better tasting and less expensive options elsewhere."

"The resort is beautiful, but very spread out. The tram didn’t run often enough, so it was a lot of walking. I enjoy walking, so not a big deal for me, but it would be for someone who can’t. I walked over 5 miles the one day we stayed at the resort. The staff was great and the room fantastic."

"My family had an incredible vacation staying at the Shores at Waikoloa. The unit was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable for our family of four. It was located in a very quiet area, and we hardly heard any noise during our stay. The twin beds in the second bedroom were perfect for our two children. We especially loved the lanai.It was a beautiful place to relax, listen to the sounds of Hawaii, enjoy our meals, and take in the amazing views. Having access to the Hilton pool was such a wonderful bonus. It was fun to explore the resort and spend time there—it definitely had a lively, energetic atmosphere. At the end of most days, though, our kids loved returning to the Shores pool for a quieter swim. We were often one of only a few families there, which made it especially relaxing. The location was perfect for families. There was great shopping nearby with everything we needed, and it was a convenient home base for exploring the island. The unit was also stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, and an umbrella, which came in handy during our beach days. Everything about our stay was wonderful. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to provide a few basic cooking essentials such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil, and a few seasonings. We enjoy shopping at local grocery stores, so it wasn't a major issue, but having those basics available would have been a nice touch. Overall, this was an excellent rental and we would absolutely stay here again."

"This is such a perfect spot. You really couldn’t find a better location. The place itself is very spacious with a layout that allows your privacy. The girls loved the twin beds in the other bedroom and the master was huge with a higher ceiling and is very large and the property is set back near the corner of the complex so you have a lot of privacy and no one is really peering in to your windows. The complex itself is gated, but it’s right off the main drag so it’s accessible, but it’s also very private serene and there’s a bunch of wild birds that live there which are also really pretty You have a view of the golf course and are surrounded by tall trees. It’s really nice. Also the place is within like 3 to 5 walking distance from the King and Queen shops the Marriott and the Hilton we kept going by the Hilton pool area where access really isn’t restricted so it’s almost like we had all the amenities of the Hilton along with a super spacious condo instead of a dingy hotel room to stay in This was definitely the way to go. The host was super friendly and very accommodating with some of our requests. Everything in the places exceptionally well maintained in the kitchen was well equipped. We even cooked dinner one of the nights! I would absolutely stay here again. It was such a great deal for the price."
