"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. "Naiwok Hills is a very nice Resort. It was my first time there and I have nothing to complain. It’s a chilled quiet place and my house was very clean. The staff was very helpful and even transfered me back to the port when I checked out and had to get the ferry. "The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."
