"Nice hotel with spectacular views."

"The welcome and service at reception on arrival were excellent. Our room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. We could have done with a chair as there was only a single stool under the dressing table. The bathroom was very compact ( I am 6'4" ) but was clean and had everything required. Excellent breakfast and our stay was superb value. The staff could not have done more to be as helpful as possible to us during our stay."

"Excellent in every respect. Superbly friendly with a responsive and caring host. Room first class with comfortable beds & ample towels. Lovely setting. High class food. Only minor issue is breakfast is only served after 08.30 - not ideal if you want an early start."

"Helensdale is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the living room are incredible, I always take binoculars with me wherever I go as I enjoy bird watching (there are some binoculars in the property) and looking out on the bay was fantastic. I saw an array of birds and even managed to see 2 seals and a porpoise. Also on a clear day you can see the coastline of Northern Ireland. The property is very comfortable and clean and is quite deceptive space wise. Big kitchen with sun room and big living room. Bathrooms and bedrooms are also a good size. Highly recommended. "
