"Rooms are quite small but very clean. Location was spectacular. Very close to the train station- it was a 2 minute walk. Check in was very easy. Close to everything you need, attractions and many restaurants and cafe’s."

"Not a 4 star standard of service or rooms. Not fully accessible to the road and buses etc. Staff extremely variable. Some friendly and efficient others disinterested and don’t deliver. For example empty handed staff walk down corridors littered with ice buckets plates etc and do nothing about it for hours. If you are going to use TV for all coms and info at least leave a single sheet to guide & help direct clients to it and ensure the tv remote works. Fun being woken up by Gibbons in adjacent zoo but possibly not everyone’s idea of a wake up call. Beware coach tour groups who block lifts and corridors. Parking is a lottery with limited hotel parking but zoo paid parking available on site. Well connected to buses to city centre but no shops or eateries close by."

"The breakfast was amazing, everything else Was crap. The rooms were hot, the beds were wrong and there was no airport shuttle. The ladies at check in were very nonchalant about our concerns and if I hadn’t been completely exhausted by travels, we would have left. I do not recommend this hotel."

"I've stayed in hostels all over the world and I can't fault this one - it's clean, spacious, well-organised, goes above and beyond a standard hostel, as it has a cafe/restaurant and organises social events via. a WhatsApp group. It also has a pod style layout, which ensures beds are sectioned off with curtains and have their own lights and charge points. Highly recommend!"

"The location was excellent, the delicious breakfast was more than enough, and the staff was very polite and helpful."

"We asked to be transferred to an accessible room because there was not a walk-in shower and the bathtub was quite high. The hotel agreed to move us. However, to get to the accessible room we had to go down one set of steps and up two more sets of steps. The room was cold and we asked for maintenance to check the temperature. A young lady came to the room and didn’t do anything different than what we did. She went and brought back a portable heater that didn’t help very much. The hotel was a disappointment and I would not recommend."
