The sofa and a few things around the room were iffy. But the tv worked, the bed and linens were immaculate, the shower was clear and the charging stations near the bed worked. That’s all I needed or wanted from a budget roadside motel!

Unfortunately this was one of the only hotels with a vacancy for the weekend and it was pretty evident why. When we first opened the door, the smell was overwhelming. It smelled like they tried to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke with bleach and potpourri. Once we got past the smell, the next problem was how dirty the floors were. My kids walked around in fresh socks for 2 minutes and the bottom of the socks were black. The shower was in rough condition and outdated, and the complimentary breakfast was abysmal. The beds were actually relatively comfortable but hard to get past the lack of cleanliness. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location was convenient and price was reasonable but the smell in the room was horrible. I’m sure it’s because it’s pet friendly. It was a nice room, but I was not comfortable because of the strong oder.

Worst customer service & room experience

First of all, I was not greeted when I walked in. I had to initiate conversation and before she said a word to me, she got up and turned on a light. When she did speak it was to ask for my DL. I gave it to her and she looked at a screen for several minutes before I had to speak first AGAIN. I asked if was she able to find my reservation. I had checked in online. She said she was trying to see if I was prepaid. I wasn't which she would have known if she had asked. Once she got my card and printed out the forms, instead of bringing the form where I was standing, she put it on the opposite side of the counter for me to sign. I almost didn't move but I needy blessings to keep flowing... We have been traveling a great deal for business and this has been the worst customer service experience I've had. Got through that only to get a crappy room. So disappointed. Our room was not up to our standards. It was not clean, paint was peeling, there was a piece of toilet paper in the peep hole and you can see the outside from the crack in the door. We are staying because we are tired but we are not happy... At all!!! Oh and the rude person at the front desk was the manager on duty. Also, I tried to add pictures but for some reason it's not working. There are pictures though... Sigh
