Everyone was very friendly and the views from the hotel were amazing. The Oasis bar and grill had very good food every day and the atmosphere could not have been better. The beds, however were extremely uncomfortable and I woke up with a very stiff neck in the mornings. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay.

This was a little far away from the airport and from downtown Dublin if that is your plan. But if you're looking for a cost effective place to stay with amazing seaviews from the parking lot, then this is the place to go. The attached restaurant had amazing food to compromise the night as well

The White Sands Hotel is located across the street from the Portmornock beach and it is beautiful. The staff at the hotel couldn't be more helpful, friendly and kind. My friend and I stayed for 7 nights with adventure planned for every day. The Oasis Pub is exactly what you'd want after a long fun day out, good food, great choice of pints and nice staff. I highly recommend this hotel while traveling through/around Ireland. We will return again. Special shout out to Tomas!!!!!!!

This was one of three hotels I stayed at on a three week vacation around Ireland, and the only one I would give an unequivocol top rating to. I wouldn't hesitate to return here and would go out of my way to use this hotel even if it wasn't ideally located for my intended travel plans, it's that good. A relaxing location and hotel. Despite being somewhat away from Dublin, there are a number of decent local attractions including the beach right in front of the hotel. My first hotel stay, in Dublin, was so poor that I cancelled my second planned stay there ( after visiting cork) and booked here instead, I'm glad I did, just wish I'd booked here for both my stays in the Dublin area. Will come back here, hopefully soon.

The hotel location was perfect as we were heading out in Malahide. There is a great bus service running just outside the hotel. The hotel bar and restaurant have. Good food and lovely atmosphere. The hotel is a bit dated but the cleanliness is great and staff are lovely and really helpful. Definitely coming back

The room was a little pungent and I don’t know why as I had the windows always open. Could use a little TLC in the bathroom as the shower didn’t drain well and it was not sparkling clean (probably because it’s an old property). Front desk staff were very helpful especially as I had to get my key card reset every time I came back!

Hotel fine, clean room. Good check in. Staff lovely. Need a fridge in room. Not much shops/restaurants around it. And as a vegetarian choice on menu very limited. No entertainment on in evening so it was an early night.

.We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Sands hotel. Spotlessly clean, warm friendly service, comfy beds. Breathtaking views of Lambay, Ireland's Eye and Howth Head. The Velvet Strand on your doorstep. Bus to Malahide leaves outside the door of the hotel. We will be back.
