This was a little far away from the airport and from downtown Dublin if that is your plan. But if you're looking for a cost effective place to stay with amazing seaviews from the parking lot, then this is the place to go. The attached restaurant had amazing food to compromise the night as well

The White Sands Hotel is located across the street from the Portmornock beach and it is beautiful. The staff at the hotel couldn't be more helpful, friendly and kind. My friend and I stayed for 7 nights with adventure planned for every day. The Oasis Pub is exactly what you'd want after a long fun day out, good food, great choice of pints and nice staff. I highly recommend this hotel while traveling through/around Ireland. We will return again. Special shout out to Tomas!!!!!!!

Could use a little TLC in the bathroom as the shower didn’t drain well and it was not sparkling clean (probably because it’s an old property). .We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Sands hotel. Spotlessly clean, warm friendly service, comfy beds. Breathtaking views of Lambay, Ireland's Eye and Howth Head. The Velvet Strand on your doorstep. Bus to Malahide leaves outside the door of the hotel. We will be back.

Loved this hotel, it was quite far from the city center of Dublin but only about an hour public transportation. The coast around it was beautiful and the little town around it is so cute and fun to explore, there are two castles nearby to explore. There is also a sauna company on the property you can use for less than 20 euros. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations. The pub in the hotel was also great.
