"Overall, the hotel I chose was perfect for me! (single lady/solo traveler) I'm a yearly traveler around (Eastern) Europe and stayed in so many hotels, and this 5-star hotel had everything I was locking for! Very clean; safe, inside and outside; perfect area (close to the beach, but not to close); quiet; walkable; nice hotel amenities; great breakfast (perfect breakfast time 6:30am - 10:30am for early 'birds'); great location; beautiful view; most of all, the room I had was perfect, nice and very comfortable bed, very clean and modern; and then the whole hotel staff, so friendly and kind! City Hotel Dubrovnik

"Fabulous hotel!!! It is right on the bus line so it was incredibly easy to get into Old Town and Old/New Ports quickly, cheaply, and efficiently. We bought a 3 day bus pass for €12 and was able to everywhere within 15 minutes. We took taxis prior to getting the pass and spent €20 one way and arrived in the same amount of time. There is a bus that comes every 5 minutes. Don't let the location of this hotel away from Old Town deter you from staying here; the accessibility is quite easy and reasonable via bus. Also, the breakfast buffet is amazing - they offer anything you could ever want. The rooms are wonderful; they seem new, in perfect condition. The bed is quite comfortable, and the bathroom is gorgeous. A fridge and Nespresso machine are included. A great bakery for a quick breakfast is immediately to the right of the hotel, open until 9pm; a full market is a half block to the left of the hotel, open until 10pm. Lastly, the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Their recommendations for transportation, activities, and restaurants were perfect, exactly what we were looking for. We travel in the US and internationally frequently and stay in a range of accommodations, from 3 to 5 star hotels, and 4 to 5 diamond resorts. CityHotel Dubrovnik was by far one of the best metropolitan hotels in which we have stayed anywhere, given their outstanding amenities, wonderful service, and accessibility to transportation."

Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

"Fantastic location, you can walk into old town in 15 to 20mins. Not a difficult walk and some great views on route. The staff, facilities & breakfast all excellent. The food at the Libertas Lunch Snack bar by the pool is good but not particularly good value given some of the portion sizes & prices. If they improved this I am sure more people would stay to eat on site. Plenty of options to eat outside of hotel Otherwise would thoroughly recommend hotel."

"Overall for the price this is a good hotel in a convenient location for beaches and buses into the old town. We stayed in the main building. The room while rather dated was perfectly functional. The view left a little to be desired but did not matter as we were out exploring Dubrovnik. Breakfast was adequate - plenty of food both hot and cold - only improvement would be decaffeinated tea/coffee! The pool was lovely with lots of space though some more parosols would be great. The view from the pool was amazing. Overall a good stay for money."

Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

"One the best Breakfast variety ever I have delicious food , service top notch, views breathtaking all amazing specifically if you are traveling with your kids they will love this hotel location is perfect you can get a taxi takes 15 min to Dubrovnik old town cost around 25€ or you can reach the port by boat cost 10 € per person takes about 30 min to reach old town so you enjoy the spectacular views of Dubrovnik"

Hotel Villas Plat

10/10 Excellent

"Nice place in the peaceful area of Plat. If you don't have a car it's easy to get to places either by bus or taxi. Pool with bar and beach area with bar as well. You can also get water taxis to Cavtat and Dubrovnik from here. Also has on site restaurant. As others have said, it is cash only. So make sure you have plenty of euros. There is an ATM on site though. Overall very happy with our stay. Great staff 🙂"

Dubrovnik Old Town Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"The location is excellent, situated right above Stradun and near restaurants, activities, and a city wall entrance. The apartment itself is cozy and intimate with authentic details like wooden shutters, and the air conditioning works very well. The top floor provides a magical view of the Dubrovnik rooftops. Please note that there are narrow stairs leading to the apartment, so it may not be the best fit for anyone with mobility issues."
