To me, this resort was the ideal place to stay if you want to get away and relax and take in the beautiful views!!!"

"This is crack central. Dangerous for alone travelers. I was afraid in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. When I checked in I saw the condition of the office and I knew how the room would be. I asked for refund and was told Expedia would contact the owners for a refund. Of course they were unable to reach them. That tells me they know how bad it is. Pass this place up."

"Breakfast items were tasty and fresh but something besides sweets would have been nice, such as yogurt, eggs, and nuts. Our room was small but has a bench, desk, full mirror. The bed was comfy but very squeaky. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check in and out. Parking was $50 a night which was nuts. Plenty of garages in the area that would allow you to park for a fraction of that. Excellent location. Quiet and safe with tons of shops and cafes in walking distance. "

"We had a nice 3 night stay at the Maryland Inn. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the historic elements of it. I did use the provided hairdryer which blew a fuse to our room. They fixed it promptly, but our power subsequently went out 3 more times despite us not using anything. Each time they took care of it and did offer a new room if it continued. We booked two nights with them, but we didn’t stay there because when we arrived we noticed how unkempt the outside was kept, trashy and landscaping needed a lot of work. We then asked to see our room, which needed some serious attention. "Breakfasts were ok. Bar needs to be opened Earlier maybe 3:00. Housekeeping was sadly lacking. We stayed 5 nights. On the 3rd day we had to ask for towels and trash removal since household had not been there since check in. They came with towels and emptied trash, that’s all. Never had clean towels after that. Our, bathroom was never cleaned, no new beverage glasses provided at all. Bed never made entire stay. Informed front desk at check out. Clerk was nice and apologized."
