Homely atmosphere

A private, luxurious house with upstairs rooms where guests and the owner sleep. The host is very friendly and will explain everything to you, including how to use the light switches. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect place for someone who enjoys a homely atmosphere.

Fantastic B&B. Beautiful room, really comfy bed. Hosts were lovely and the breakfast was magic; a fine selection of buffet items plus a freshly cooked fry up. 11 out of 10, I really hope I'm nearby in the future for another visit. Oh, nearly forgot, the place they recommended for my evening meal was great as well.

Wow where do I start this is a great location and safe place to stop at. The only issue was that I was not there forever the hosts was also great making this stay person centred for each guest can not wait to used again when in the area thanks

Stan’s the man!

We found our stay at The Laurels perfect. Stan and his wife made us feel very welcome and their home was beautiful (with more improvements still to come!) Our room was lovely and had everything you needed, kettle, Dyson fan, tv etc. The shower was also very good!l and bed super comfy. The breakfast spread in the morning was also very well received. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding 1 night stay, nice location, beautifully presented B&B property, inside is of the highest quality, beautifully decorated, large comfortable bed, everything you need is provided in your room and everything is immaculately clean. Cannot fault The Laurels for an overnight or longer stay... room has absolutely everything you need including toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities with a mini fridge containing fresh milk and filtered water. Breakfast is amazing.... freshly baked croissants to die for followed by yoghurt, fruit and cereal.... and a full English or any variant as requested.

Loved every part of my stay. Stan and his wife were very friendly, picked me up from Leez priory where I attended an event. Offered me a selection of breakfasts in the morning. Couldn't help but ask about their beautiful house - built from the ground up, the house is very modern with its spiral staircase and underfloor heating. I already wish I was back in the room, such a comfortable bed, and a clean wet room shower. Peaceful stay and great service. Would recommend to everyone
