The Space:

There is a beautiful kitchen on the main level with an expansive island ready to kickstart your vacation the right way! There is also a kitchenette on the lower level which makes this home perfect for a couple of families to share together, or a large group! About 3,000 sqft of perfectly crafted space awaits you only 2.5 miles from downtown Durango, and only 1.5 miles from the Animas River Trail. Sitting on 1/2 acre with a fully fenced yard, and a short trail to a lookout deck offering stunning mountain and valley views with open space behind for additional trail access. This location is a quick 5 min drive to Historic Downtown Durango, yet you can easily hop on 550 North towards Purgatory Ski area just 25 miles away. You will not get bored with a pool table, foosball, darts, ping pong, yard games, and home gym at your disposal. Plenty of parking out front that can accommodate up to 7+ vehicles or trailers. Guests also have use of the detached garage (this is where the ping pong table and home gym are located) where you can park a car, your side by side, bikes, and motorcycles for extra security. Exceptional attention to detail was taken in creating this unique space! You will not be disappointed. The downstairs has its own exterior entrance and small kitchen, which makes this the perfect place if you are traveling with other families, providing a sense of privacy, yet easily come together when desired for meals and fun! Sleeping up to 14 people, your large group (or smaller group) will love every bit of this beautifully remodeled home. You will probably see deer and other wildlife that like to frequent the vacant lot next door! Oh, and we can’t leave out the extremely fast high speed FIBER internet clocking in at or above 475 mbps! At the end of your adventurous day relax in the Nordic Pure ozone infused hot tub on the deck, and grill some juicy steaks (new grill added Oct 2025) while enjoying a glass of wine on the lookout deck with views of the mountain range, downtown Durango, and the Animas Valley. This is your escape to the San Juan Mountains with every amenity at your disposal! The master closet is extremely spacious and can easily fit a pack-and-play which families with young children love! Guest Access:

You have the whole 3,000 sqft house and the entire 1/2 acre, including trails up to the lookout deck! More trails offered behind the property in the City of Durango open space. Fully fenced yard with yard games, and ping pong, darts, and home gym in the garage. Pool table and foosball table in the finished basement.



The Neighborhood:

There are restaurants close by such as Pop Sushi, Dominos, Bread Cafe, Machos Mexican, and more! Only 1.5 miles to the Animas River trail.



Getting Around:

Tons of parking on site! Shaded by trees in the summer.



Other Things to Note:

The basement of the home has its own fully stocked kitchenette, so this is a great option for two families traveling together! Extremely fast fiber internet at least 500 mbps.
