I heard really good things about Ramside hall but when I arrived my expectations were lowered. Upon arrival, the staff were great, couldn’t fault them. When I got to the room, the room wasn’t great, lights didn’t work, wardrobe was absolutely full of dust, coffee stains on table, carpets stained and there was also stains on the walls. I asked for the room to be checked over, which they did, when I went to the room the second time everything was still the same as before. Was very disappointed, won’t be going back again.

We had a spa day which was fabulous and then stayed over. We chose to eat in Charcoa restaurant on the evening. I ordered mince and dumplings and my friend Salmon. Lovely stay, but when staying on the ground floor really noisy can hear every conversation and laughter as people come in from a night out so we didn’t sleep well. I actually forgot from last time and should have asked for a room upstairs as we needed to sleep and leave to drive out early.
