"The lady at check in was wonderful! Very affable and helpful! The carpet in the hallways was filthy! Stains and dirt down the hallways! We played cards downstairs and the front desk was not manned….there were 7 people at one time to check in and no one around! Room was large and comfortable! Breakfast was cold sausage, burned eggs, hard tater tot’s, and not much variety of breads! The person in charge was sitting in the room across from the food not paying attention to what needed to be done! Checkout was blah…."

"Fantastic pool. Great owner to work with. Highly recommend this owner and his son Gareth for lodging AND/or hunting (if you are also looking for that). These are salt of the earth guys who work VERY hard. They really rolled out the red carpet for our group. Property was fantastic, clean, lots of instructions greeting us to make our stay easy and comfortable and they surprised us with some fantastic “extra” touches that really meant a lot to our group. You won’t find nicer hosts who are more in tune with providing a world class experience for their guests (and fun, world class cats) than Mark, Gareth and Reagan."

"As always, my stay was comfortable in a cool, clean and sufficient room. Front desk was pleasant as always. It is a no frills hotel, so don't go expecting room service. However, the room is clean and stocked with clean towels and soaps. I stay here when I work in Abilene and it has never disappointed."

"We had meetings in Salina and Mark’s property offered us a cozy homey feeling that was comfortable and well equipped. The stone home was also very charming. We were able to go for a 2-mile walk after sitting all day and enjoyed the countryside. We would definitely stay here again!"
