"We found this property to be a perfect fit for our stay in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Our group consisted of my husband, his mom and dad, my mom, and our three teenage children. My father-in-law grew up in this area and we wanted to bring him back to share it with his grandchildren. The house accommodated us well. We had the older adults sleep in the bedrooms on the first floor, and the younger ones slept upstairs. The beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a bonus with our group of eight. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make all meals easily. We even pulled the charcoal grill out of the garage for a cookout. We did bring our own charcoal and lighter fluid. The sound of the waterfall behind the backyard was relaxing and was heard throughout the property. We enjoyed the sunsets each night over Lake Superior. We used the park across the street and played pickle ball. We happened to have our own paddles with us. The courts are a bit weathered and well used, but it was still fun. Overall, this property was relaxing and suited our family well and we would stay again in the future if we travel this way."

"loved the cabin. the area in general was really nice. the sign makes it easily identifiable from the road. the setup inside and on the patio was perfect.
negatives: I never received an email or was contacted before check in. I had to text and then call twice to get the code for the door to get in 1 hour before arrival. that was stressful while making the drive up.
the bathroom could have been cleaner. hair and debris from previous renters. "
"Our family enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean (including the outhouse) and had what we needed to enjoy a bit of seclusion. The sauna was our favorite part of our stay. And the hosts provided excellent recommendations for food and places to visit. Thank you!"
"The house was just perfect with an amazing view! The porch facing the lake was great for drinking coffee and watching the water. Check in was super easy and the place was very clean. I would highly recommend!! "
"An absolute dream come true for me and my family to stay in an actual lighthouse. The amenities were all top notch and the property manager couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. There were fresh cut flowers in each room and bread, coffee, and maple syrup from local shops left on the table for us when we arrived. The view was amazing to watch freighters go by in the sunroom and it was such a great location to use as a home base to explore the Keweenaw. The copper mines, beaches, museums, lighthouses and waterfalls we visited were all no more than 30 minutes away. We even saw an eagle up close on the river that runs next to the lighthouse. I was looking forward to this vacation for so long and I couldn't have imagined it to be any better or more perfect than it was. Thank you for allowing us to be temporary stewards of this beautiful piece of history and good luck on the current project. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!"
