The Read House Hotel
The Read House is a beautiful place to stay. The decor was a step back in time, and the staff from the front desk to the bar and valet were excellent. The room had plenty of space. If you have expectations about your visit, do not worry. You will not be disappointed. Bravo

We enjoyed our stay. One issue was the cleanliness of the room. The coffee maker was nasty and so was the pull out bed. We checked in super late and had no sheets for the bed but I called the emergency number and an extremely police and helpful young man helped me out. Also please put some curtains ...

mountain house feel only 3.5 miles to downtown on missionary ridge
Loved the updated decor and layout and especially the gas fire pit! The one thing I would suggest is a non slip bath mat for the bottom of the tub for showering.
