We enjoyed the setting on a quiet street, the kindness of the hosts, and the comfortable accommodations. A simple and very adequate buffet breakfast was available for an extra fee, which worked for us. There was the offer of a more elaborate breakfast as well (eggs, etc).Enjoyed a friendly chat w host Brian during breakfast. We could easily return to Cranston House!

Very affable gentleman who I assume was owner met me. Enjoyed comfortable and peaceful night. Didn't eat there due to pending medical procedure so can't comment on this aspect. Everything looked clean and I would be happy to stay again. You really need your car as rather remote from town centre and East Grinstead Railway Station so had to use Taxis.

Convenient for day trips to London, in a lovely quiet town, within walking distance to the town center shops and rail station. I had a cozy attic room that was cool, clean, and with a lovely view. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful hosts. I recommend this lovely hotel and will return.

Excellent stay

Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated.
