Room was clean, spacious. Was allowed to use Breakfast area for our family party for food. Only disappointing part was that the pool had been closed down for repairs and we weren’t notified enough in advance so we could cancel our stay. The kids really wanted to go swimming

When you book a hotel for their amenities and they are out of order it tends to be extremely disappointing. Our family booked several rooms at this hotel as we do every year and the kids look forward to swiming and when the pool is down it causes havoc.

The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom door ould not latch and it rubbed against the floor, making it hard to open and close. That was the only detail we found wanting and we told the front desk.

The room was not clean, nothing seems like it's regularly updated or clean. There was bugs all over inside the window and when I called the front desk and asked him to have someone just clean them up, he was condescending and let me know that they're bugs that are native to the area. That's fine but I don't think they're supposed to be INSIDE my hotel. Not one or two. Like 20 of them. They cleaned them up and then they came right back. Pool was nice. Breakfast was just okay. But the cleanliness and the bugs definitely impacted how I felt about it. At least if the person at the front was friendly about it, it would have helped.

Decent quick over nite stay!

Unexpected over nite stay, traveled the nite before & really didn’t sleep, decided to stay in E. Lansing during a stop on the way home-too exhausted to complete the journey home. The hotel was clean & the bed comfy, it was stormy/rainy weather-so a good nite to relax & get rested up to be able to complete the journey ho, the next day-better safe than sorry! Will choose this hotel in the future if I decide to attend any classes at local close by quilt merchant & stay in E. Lansing!
