Happily surprised that for about $130 per night(fees & taxes included), this motel was clean, well tended, quiet, and convenient. Front desk person was friendly and seemed to enjoy being there, explained simple check in and out process. Thanks, we had a nice time!

If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to sleep outside of Altoona then this place is perfect. The room was clean and served its purpose. There’s not much in the area, but there are a number of food options in close proximity that you can drive to.

Originally I was skeptical upon seeing the place! Amelia at checking was awesome! It’s clear to see they are working on renovations! The toon was updated and very clean. The location is good, very easy to find! The only cons were the internet and it would be great if there was a small coffee pot in the room! Would definitely stay there again!

Working at luxury properties for a long time has made me very aware of the ins and outs of small facilities like this. The lake inn was fantastic. Very easy to check in and out, the room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, rooms were a little outdated but for the accommodation you’re getting, Well worth the stay and price point. The individual at the office on property was quick, to the point and very polite. 10/10. If ever in the area. This will be where I’ll stay!

We were pleased with our stay. The room was as fairly comfortable, very clean, & mostly quiet. They do not have some of the usual amenities, like a coffee maker, ice machine, or vending area, but the basic needs for a hotel stay were met. And the location to where we were visiting was close & convenient.

We arrived at the hotel after biking all day and the place was permanently closed. It appears to be up for sale as there are real estate lock boxes in front of the office. No one was there and we had to look elsewhere for a room.

Smelled of paint and was not properly lit as to where the hotel was. Actually rode past it because there was nothing that stood out to let you know this was the property. Big dumpster out front. The room was nice and I could tell it had been updated.
