"The gulf was partially visible from room...walk just a few feet and 100% visible. we were on west side of property on the beach. Great restaurant on property, good food and live music. restaurant not part of hotel... breakfasts were something you would pay for - we never did breakfast there but did dinner there every night and evening cocktails. all fabulous. Staff so friendly and room so clean. Great amenities like bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, games. Lovely pool area and swimmable beach. Highly recommend."

"Avoid Angler and Ale restaurant, the food is terrible and the service also terrible, we wait one hour and 20 minutes for our drinks and 2 hours for our food. We had to return most of the dishes because of the terrible taste and presentation. AVOID eating at this place at any cost. Overall the hotel is great and the villas are very nice and comfortable."

"This is a low-key, unpretentious property. Our room had a little patio that faced the water. Small pool. Parking was easy. Most importantly, the room, bathroom, linens and towels were clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable to me. Not too firm and pillows were nice and big. I have no complaints. Checkin was pretty easy. The office closes at 6pm but I just needed to call the number and provide my name and the individual gave me the code for the unit."
