A historic hotel, amazingly & tastefully renovated. In the centre, a few steps from the bus & coach stop (for those not coming by car), within a walkable distance to a stunning beach and coastal lookouts.
All members of the staff we met during our short stay were helpful, pleasant and professional, even those working 12 hrs shift - no weariness was shown in their interactions with guests.
The manager waited for us to arrive very late, another staff member made sure we had something to eat on our early morning trip back home, as we missed on the continental breakfast.
A range of ages & backgrounds are employed by the hotel, but each staff member provides equally exemplary customer service, making it quite an efficient hospitality industry team.
We had a lovely stone baked vegetarian pizza & beer as a takeaway lunch and dinner at the restaurant, a local fish for seafood lovers, quinoa & veggies for vegans.
The breakfast room is a delight to start morning at, including comfortable plush chairs, chandeliers, paintings, period features, high ceilings with ornate metal tiles, a lovely china, it also doubles as a restaurant for dinner.
Our room was comfortable and spacious,
with all the inclusions needed for a memorable stay.
Suggestions: to fix the lock on the balcony door for added security, to provide slippers to the existing bathrobe, and to adjust a step leading to the toilet to prevent tripping over.
We plan a dolphin&whale watching, staying at this hotel.
