Staff were super friendly and answered all of our questions with no problem. However, the bathroom in our room was very dirty. The silicone around the bath was orange which meant that it was quite old and dirty. We couldn’t really use the shower because of this. Beds had hairs on them right after we checked in which made us think that this place doesn’t have any cleaners. Location is very nice yes you can walk everywhere but I just wouldn’t stay here again. We really thought it was a waste of money because we paid around £700 for 3 nights and had to stay in a dirty room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the young men even used his phone to order dinner for us! They were helpful with guiding us to restaurants and helping take up our luggage. The only issue that was not great was the stairs and having to go up two flights. Otherwise, the hotel was good.

Close to Dean Gardens

The Thistle is a quaint hotel off the main thoroughfare. It is quiet, and building their business up. Staying in a “family” room has a few challenges, but the staff was courteous and kind.
