It’s a nice, historic property but rooms could use some updating. Staff were very friendly. Not a great location if your trip centers around Old Town and the Royal Mile. It’s a good value property if you don’t mind walking 15 min. to where the action is.

Request a room in the main building rather than the annex…4 stars on some aspects rather than 5 due to staying in a small basement room in the annex- that needs to be defined more in the advertisement.
