"Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather."

Our family of four stayed in one room. It had proper accommodations for all of us. Breakfast was made every morning and it was delicious. Highly recommend going to the area to stay this hotel "

"Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper"

"I really want to thank the host, Jan, for being very kind and helpful. He made our short stay stress free. The property was stunning! I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the beautiful mountain and the smelling the clean, fresh air. Since we had a lot of activities plan in Monteverde town, it took us alot longer to drive since the roads very unpaved and rocky. Therefore, I recommend you give yourself ample time to travel to your excursion because you need to go a little slow due to the bumpy roads. Overall, it was a great stay, can I recommend this property on who needs peace and tranquility."
