My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay, the caretakers were extremely accommodating and super friendly. The pool/outdoor area was absolutely stunning. My family and I will 100% be coming back.

Great place to stay at El Cuco

Our stay at El Maracol was great, they were flexible with our family group and the check in/check out was very simple. Don Francisco is great and is willing to go out of his way to make your stay the best time possible. When you’re there, do yourself a favor and order food from El Bombón, you will not be disappointed! Just ask Don Francisco about El Bombón. My family and I will definitely be back!

Beach get away

House is right front ocean nice swimming pool, very clean, the house has a lot of rooms, I rented for 11 people, I was given 3 bedrooms with 11 twin beds, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and one with 3 beds, so theres no queen size beds or for couples

Must read before you stay !

We enjoyed our stay, and the caretakers of the house were exceptional they were very helpful and we felt secure due to fact that the home is gated. This review is intended for future guests and the property owner. We hope the property owner will address the issues we noticed. The rooms are run down and old, and the bath towels provided were hard and scratchy, indicating they were quite worn. We recommend bringing your own bath towels if possible. Additionally, the showers didn’t drain well in the three rooms we had. On the bright side, the common area is spacious with a beautiful view, and you have the beach at your doorstep. The pool is also a nice size. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite these issues.

The on-site property manager, Francisco, was very attentive and helpful; he obviously takes great pride in the property. My wife and our 3 adult children and their partners stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the property and Cuco. I hope to return one day soon.

I had an excellent experience staying at Maracol! The property exceeded our expectations in every way. My family was truly happy to be there — the pool was beautiful, and the location right in front of the beach made our vacation unforgettable. The views were stunning, and the setting was perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time together.A special thanks to Francisco, the groundskeeper, who was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. His kindness and support made everything even more enjoyable.Overall, Maracol provided us with a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful beachfront getaway in El Salvador.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Maracol. The house was clean and the rooms had air conditioning and their own bathroom. The beach is phenomenal and there are plenty of places to go out to eat. Don Francisco was very helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

Special thanks to the manager, Francisco, who helps us to accommodate . He was very helpful and polite. Suggestions: Would be better to add amenities such as : Hand/ beach towels, toilet paper, Hand soap, bed linens. There are foreign travelers that expect to find these items because it's a challenge to travel with most of them to these vacationing places.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house and location, however there were no hygiene products provided like toilet paper shampoo etc, also there were a lot of flys inside the house so we ended up staying on the outer part of the house instead. The wifi was limited and not very far range and there were stray dogs which barked at night and made it hard to go to sleep. The house itself is beyond beautiful which made the stay better.

Bedrooms very old, bad smell, rundown looking house for the price charged, and seen roaches and mosquitoes inside bedrooms, very disappointed. Not recommended.
