"Schönes Wochenende im Harz mit Licht und Schatten Wir haben ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel direkt an der Bode verbracht. Das Haus überzeugt in vielen Punkten, hat aber auch Schwächen. Das Positive: Die Architektur wirkt wie ein kleines Schloss und fügt sich wunderbar in die Umgebung ein. Die Lage ist ruhig und traumhaft direkt an der Bode, die Umgebung ideal zum Wandern. Besonders die sehr gute Küche hat uns überzeugt – frisch und geschmackvoll. Das Betreiber-Ehepaar war ausgesprochen freundlich...

"slightly quirky room and hotel layout. eg my room door opened into the room with a pillar imnediately behind it!. Food was excellent in the resteraunt, the hotel is set back from the village and it was lovely to be close to the woods and deer in the enclosure outside. Staff very helpfull."
