Fiber-Optic Cable T.V.- WiFi- Internet Is lightning fast. 60 inch Sharp 4K HD Flat screen on swivel wall mount. 14 Foot "Smoker Craft" Aluminum fishing boat with Minn Kota electric trolling motor provided for guests unlimited use, gas grill with full tank ready to start the BBQ now. This amazing little lodge/cabin is the only structure on Kaunonen lake. Featuring 80 acres of complete privacy, located in the heart of the "Iron Range" Embarrass Minnesota, less than 15 miles to "Giants Ridge" or "Babbitt" less than 30 Minutes to "Ely" or "Lake Vermilion" 2-bedrooms and 2- bathrooms, modern interior, and of course the "VIEWS" open year round. Don't short change your experience on some tiny hotel or condo with no room to really relax. Have your own private lodge on your own private lake. If you can top that. Great little cabin. If you're looking for upscale cabin, this is not for you. If you're looking for a perfect little cabin to fish or ride, this is the place to go!! Access to ATV trails nice and close, no trailering just get in sxs and go.

Secluded, quiet, and peaceful, exactly as represented in the description and pictures. We enjoyed both the indoors and outdoors amenities of the cabin and lake. Our 3 day stay was over far too quickly.

Overall our experience was very good. The lodge was clean, in good condition, and well-equipped. The owner texted me the entry code and our arrival was smooth and without hassle. The area is private and secluded, which was just what we wanted. One minor quibble: I was drawn to the place in part because there was a fireplace pictured and listed among the property amenities. This turned out to be decorative fireplace, not a functional one. While we did not allow this disappointment to spoil our stay, I would suggest editing the description so it is not misleading.

Beautiful Place

A little piece of heaven

Have stayed a few times and we absolutely love this little house. So quiet and peaceful , just what we need to get away from our lives in the city and appreciate GODS country Randy is an absolute gem, very easily to get a hold of and super kind We will be back for sure!

Amazing time

Great stay at this property. Was everything I was looking for in a summer vacation with my kids. Fishing was great and the temps for late August were amazing. Barely any bugs and very relaxing and refreshing. Highly recommend!!

August 2024 getaway.

2 fishing buddies just looking for a place to stay. This was a very peaceful getaway. The cabin is about half an hour from any town, but thats ok since we were fishing multiple lakes. Why pay big money for just a place to sleep when your going to other lakes!

Amazing getaway!

My friends and I stayed at this property just this weekend. When we arrived the property was very clean. We used the kitchen for every meal and had no problems! We even took the boat out for a spin. The property is in a nice spot, secluded and private. Overall awesome getaway thanks to this amazing property!

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little getaway! Owner was very friendly and helpful with the issues we had with our email (used apple relay). If you enjoy stunning views of nature, You’ll enjoy having your morning coffee/tea in the little “sunroom area” , the patio, or the dining area. The washer and dryer were also a nice bonus, as to not have to do laundry when you’re vacation is over. Will absolutely return soon!

Fun times

My family and I stayed and had alot of fun. Close enough to Ely to explore town and Virginia. We caught alot of fish and some largemouth bass over 5lbs. Two batteries for the boat meant we were always able to fish.
