A wonderful get-a-way for family or friends overlooking the river with great fishing for Smallmouth, Walleye, Musky & Catfish. Sixty steps down from your patio to our private dock where you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, sunbathing and exploring. Across the river is the Allegheny River bike Trail where miles of enjoyment await. Relax in the evening around your fire pit on a large patio outside your door that includes a propane grill, table and chairs for outside dinning overlooking the river. In cooler weather enjoy the living room fireplace after cooking in a fully stocked kitchen. The yard is fenced in for protection of your small children and pets, both of which are welcome.

The property is beautiful and the location is gorgeous. The apartment is private with a lovely patio with fire pit, covered porch with picnic table and dock on a beautiful stretch of the Allegheny River. The house is very comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are wonderful…very helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time…..our second time staying in this gorgeous place!

Best View Ever!

The view is in the top 2 I've ever seen, absolutely breathtaking. The Lodge is immaculate and much bigger than expected, beds were luxurious, great little gated area for my pup, fire pit, and Amazing Hosts who treated me like Family. The neighbors were all so kind and welcoming. A 5 min drive to town will give direct river access, Rails and Trails to the falls, IGA market and gas. Little It pizza and the Coffee Haus were delicious and highly recommend! The entire experience was a big warm slice of Heaven on Earth!

Absolutely Amazing

This is a perfect little cabin apartment! You can look out to the Allegheny River from the kitchen. The pictures on the listing do not do the property justice. The hosts had the rental space all decorated for Christmas including a beautiful Christmas tree. We stayed over Christmas and it was perfect. The rental was clean and stocked with everything you need and more! We will 100% be renting from them again.

Great property!

We had a great stay! The property was perfect and just as described! The kitchen had everything we needed for a good Thanksgiving dinner. The views of the river were so pretty. We will be back when it’s warmer to enjoy the nice patio, fire pit, and river.

The entire experience was perfect. The living space was beautiful. It had all the amenities you could ever need down to fishing rods, camp fire accessories, and a great barbecue space. The rooms beautifully decorated and clean. It was perfect.

Riverside Cabin

Beautiful! Accommodation is the lower floor apartment of a cabin on the shore of the Allegheny River (Hosts occupy the upper floor.). Private patio area facing the river with grill, fire ring and seating. Small side yard area with a swingset and sandbox. Patio and yard are fenced. This property is dog-friendly and the hosts were very tolerant of our rambunctious Golden Retriever. The apartment itself is fully and very comfortably furnished. Fishing gear (You must have your own fishing license.) and kayaks are available for guest use. The only downside is that river access is down a very long and steep staircase, a consideration for folks with mobility issues. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Convenient to an extensive network of bike trails. The village of Emlenton is about 15 minutes away and includes a small grocery store, gas station, post office, brewery, coffee shop, deli and bar. Not much of a restaurant scene, but the cabin kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. Our hosts, Fred and Chris were very friendly and available to help if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again!

Better than Perfect

This property was magical. The home was meticulously clean and so cozy and inviting. The hosts left a wonderful book full of information around the are. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Outside the view was better than the photos and the sound of the river can be heard from the time you park. It made for an absolutely magical stay. Cannot recommend more.

Beautiful downstairs cabin apartment

A group of us went for a fishing trip. Even though the weather wasn’t great. We had a blast. The place was beautiful, clean and well appointed. Fred was a great host and very helpful. Definitely recommend!
