"I probably won’t be coming back here. There’s a hamptons inn across the street, probably much better. When we checked in, there was a young lady who came to the front desk, and almost instantly had a rude and unfriendly demeanor. Minimum words spoken. I check in my room which had stains and burn marks and take my kid down to the pool. There’s no pool towels, we went to ask for towels and the girl rolled her eyes before giving them. The pool is almost sickeningly warm, it had a bunch of floaters in the water. We went to use the restroom and it was thrashed with poop in the toilet for who knows how long, the toilet bowl was just black. We got back to our room, there were no bath towels in the room. We went to ask for bath towels at the from desk from the same young lady and she was so irritated by me at the point and questions which room I was staying in before finally giving me the towels, it felt pulling teeth trying to get towels of her. The only decent thing was the breakfast. There was young man working very hard to keep it stocked while and entire baseball team and their families were staying there. Save your money and go somewhere else…"

"Clean with good bedding and space. BUT the TV remote was confusing and dysfunctional. And then no HD on my big TV screen, what a surprise and disappointment. Some channels had as much snow as a 1950s TV. I could hear my neighbors talking, walking, and even breathing as one of them slept! My coffee maker didn't work and the ice machine near my room was jammed. My reception at check-in was cold, and I wasn't shown the price of my room with taxes and fees included. When I checked out I was told I would get a receipt via email. None has yet arrived. I did appreciate the fact that at one point I was able to get a covered parking space, but I would not stay at this hotel again."

"The VRBO was great. The kitchen was fully equipped and the location was perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to the historic town. Owners were very accommodating when we needed the table extended to fit my kids to have dinner with us and when the automatic lock malfunctioned at 10 pm so we could get back into the unit.The only minor issue was that my wife and I are very light sleepers and eventhough the Owners were very quiet, we were still able to hear their footsteps. Would completely recommend this VRBO to anyone who needs to stay in this area. "

"Quiet and Serene Riverside Retreat!We had such a relaxing stay here. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were perfect - the hosts even had music playing for our arrival, which was such a thoughtful, welcoming touch.The space was immaculately clean and managed to feel very private and tucked away, even though the hosts live on the property. Speaking of the hosts, their communication was top-notch, they were so kind and attentive before, during, and after our trip.Highlights:The Setting: It is incredibly peaceful. We spent so much time just sitting outside and chilling by the water.Birdwatching: If you like nature, you’ll love it here. There are birds everywhere! It was fascinating to see the Great Blue Heron displays and then spot them out on the river.The View: The photos don't even do justice to how serene the river looks, especially on a clear day.If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and soulful place to recharge, this is it. We’d definitely stay here again!"
