Perfect beach house

Adults and teens both loved! Bikes to beach and town everyday. And loved the free shuttle at night. House has bikes, all the beach items you need! 3 great decks too! Would book again. Asked for a large cooler..delivered in 10 Minutes!!!

A Chef’s Vacation House Dream

This property is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. Bikes, SUPS, Kayaks and beach toys at the ready. If you love to spend time cooking, this is hands down the best kitchen set up I’ve ever had! The table seats 10! Every utensil, pot or pan you’d need is on site. The only down side- it’s a second story suite, so you’re always hauling things upstairs. Not handicap accessible. Also? The listing shows most things accurately, but the pool is not nearby- that’s a community thing we never found (nor did we need to) and the beach yoga is also not near the house. We will book again! It was an outstanding g property.

Nice but too pricey for experience

The property owner was very nice and responded quickly to questions and requests. The property was large enough for a family or multi family / friend group however for the price it needs updating. There was garbage and socks under the couch which made us feel the property was not cleaned well after guests checked out. Not convenient to the beach and had to walk down the street to access. Was unaware it wasn't behind the house. We never found where the pool was. The bikes did not include the 3 wheeler option as pictured and was not able tobuse kyacks or paddle boards because that wasn't easy to access to put in water. The check out instructions stated to lock door and bring keys to rental office. When we did so the agent "Deborah" was very unpleasant and snapped at us saying "You locked the cleaning lady out" when I told her I followed the email instructions she basically said "no it didn't " . I would not have even know where the rental office was without the instructions. I had to email her a copy to prove I was telling the truth. I would recommend updating the master bath with a shower / tub and also update pictures. The outdoor space was not usable for unit 5 because it was designated for other units. Unit 5 does not have a grill or outdoor space for a family. There is a nice screen porch and a deck but narrow and no view. I would not stay here again. Needs a tv in every room and a dresser to put your clothes in. Best thing about this unit was the owner.

Expectations exceeded!

We had an exceptional stay at this property! The unit exceeded our expectations in every way. It was immaculate; I was amazed when I wiped up some sand with a paper towel, and nothing else came up! There was more than enough room for our family and friends—eight of us in total—and we greatly appreciated the abundance of amenities. Having chairs, bikes, coolers, and umbrellas provided saved us the hassle of purchasing or renting them. We also enjoyed grilling dinner several nights, which added to our wonderful experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This is our fave beach spot!

This was our third stay at Stump Pass Place, and we hope to return again next year! They have literally ALL the beach stuff you need: coolers, wagons, booty boards, goggles, buckets/shovels, life vests... Condo is within walking distance to restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach (both the Gulf side and the bay side. The kids loved riding the provided bikes around and has a blast on the provided kayaks and standup paddles boards.If you're considering Stump Pass Place, just book it!

Great for families

We love staying here. We have stayed four times now in different units. All of the amenities are so convenient and the property is always in very clean and good shape. Easy for families with kids. Beach is short walking distance. Hosts are always quick to respond. We absolutely love coming here.

Pure Paradise.

We enjoyed our trip very much. This was our first time to this area and will definitely be back! Loved that we could walk to the beach and Stump Beach Park is beautiful! The condo was super clean and had everything we needed! Thanks so much! We also enjoyed getting around on the Stumpy golf cart.

Loved Every Minute!

Great location- easy walk to beach. The provided beach gear was a great perk--chairs, umbrella, coolers, shell collectors, buggy all in good condition and easy to access. Kayaks and paddles were easy to transport with provided cart and we absolutley loved kayaking in Lemon Bay. Plenty of bikes and a free golf cart shuttle stop too. Inside was very clean, well appointed kitchen, big TVs in living room and bedroom, lots of towels in bathrooms and a comfy king bed. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again and we hope to!

This is a great place for adults only or family. Wonderful location, and beautiful. A lot of the extras were thought about that make your beach days fun and exciting. All the extra toys make it so much more fun.

Southern Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at the Stump Pass Place. There was a little hiccup when we arrived with the smoke detector, chirping, but the property managers were Johnny-on-the-spot with getting the situation taken care of, so we didn't have to listen to that through the night. There were many pros to this property; The beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer were full size. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cleaners. We were offered cornhole to play. The kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, wagon, umbrellas, beach toys, were great. We were also offered a trike for my son to ride when he couldn't ride the bigger bicycles (that was extremely sweet) and he loved it. The location was nice especially when the Stump Pass Park parking lot was too full to park in, we were able to walk, or ride the bikes, and always get in. There are way more pros, the property descriptions was very accurate, these were the items that we appreciated the most. A few cons, but not deal breakers for future stays; The master bathroom didn't have a shower, but did have a large jet bathtub with a flexible shower head hose. There were also no fans in the bathrooms, so hot showers would warm them up quickly. There were no views of the water in the canal or the gulf. We had a great time, and it was a great place to stay, we'd stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Smith beach vacation

We always enjoy staying here. This is our third time on Manasota key and our second time at this property. The owners communicate well and we love the private beach. We especially like the outdoor showers

The amenities were amazing. They have everything you need right there. The beach is a little bit of a walk since there really isn’t any access for a couple of blocks. It is beautiful and worth the walk.

Family Vacation

Definitely worth the trip

While location was most important in selecting this property it was also important to rent from a Premier Host. We loved the proximity to the beaches and restaurants. We also loved the quiet neighborhood. The property was well maintained and our accommodations were clean and nicely decorated. It was extremely convenient to have access to bicycles, beech chairs, umbrellas and kayaks. When it comes to premier hosts Pete has to be one of the best. He was very responsive whenever we reached out to him. Prior to arriving we asked if there was a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. He indicated that there wasn't but would provide one for us. This was the first indication of what a special host he is. When the TV acted up he fixed it the next day. When the ice maker acted up he fixed it the next day. When we requested a special needs bicycle he provided it the same day. One day a beech umbrella we were using could not be closed causing us to walk back to the rental with it open, which was quite a spectacle. Upon informing Pete we found a replacement on the porch the next morning. Thank you Pete! We highly recommend this property.

Great family destination

Very clean and current property in awesome location with walkability to the beach, parks, places to eat, and gift shop. We had grandma, my kids with their spouses and 5 grandsons. Plenty of room for all. It was nice to have space for everyone to eat together. We also enjoyed having access to all the toys and wagons to use to get to the beach. We would have liked to use the bikes as well but the kids are a bit small for that yet. Really nice outdoor showers and shell washing station was a hit with the kids. Having the designated outdoor space was nice, but you really don't need it with the nice decks and screened in deck area off the master. It was a great experience and location. Would recommend and I would certainly stay here again.

Good value

Very nice place but if you want a pool or beachfront this is not the place. The penthouse is awesome for couples. Selection of beach items are great. Bed in second bedroom way too soft. The people are great and very responsive.
