Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. view of English Harbor was beautiful, breakfast had a nice selection including fresh cut fruit (a must have for me) daily. The owner even gave me a ride down the hill on my departure so I could catch my cab to the airport.

Annie was truly the soul of the place. She greeted us cheerfully every time we met and made sure we were well looked after. The view from the main terrace, pool area, and our cottage was spectacular – directly facing the English Harbour. While the premises could benefit from a little uplift, the rustic style added a cosy and authentic charm.

The staff was exceptional, the view was spectacular. The self serve bar was a nice touch. But our cottage seemed to be unfinished after a recent renovation: no towel bars or soap dishes in the bathroom, no mirror over the sink, a bathroom door that would not close. But very close to English Harbor and many good restaurants.

This is a small family run hotel. What it lacks in fancyness is more than made up for in friendliness! Robert is a great host and we'd definitely go back again! The view of English Harbor is spectacular!

Friendly welcome from hotel owner with efficient staff. Excellent honesty bar. The view, though, is the best, overlooking English Harbour and the Dockyard. Very walkable and convenient for bus to St John's.

You could never tire of the glorious view from this place. The staff are smiley, lovely and welcoming, everything is very relaxed. Perfect breakfast served every day which is a blessing and nice touches like a water dispenser available. It's in a fantastically handy location, you can walk to English Harbour & the dockyard. Don't come expecting 'perfection' as it does need some renovations, but it has oodles of Caribbean charm, a nice pool to cool off in and a bar for sundowners. We'd definitely stay again. Care, transportation assistance and warm friendliness of the staff and especially the owner Robert was superb. The host was a super nice person and cared about his guests. He went out of his way for us to have a great cabin tor our stay. I would highly recommend Ocean Inn. The view from our cabin was stupendous, it was overlooking the bay. Even with all the steps it was manageable, and life on them was a surprise. (That was a bonus.) Thank you, Robert.
