"I was left somewhat frustrated to pay £16 per head for breakfast for 3 people - total £48. I ordered the larger cooked breakfast and was then asked to pay an extra £6. The bigger breakfast had an egg and a pice of black pudding. This has left a negative feeling of what was an otherwise excellent stay at the hotel."

"This is a beautiful b&b with really quaint rooms and an excellent breakfast included. It was quite easy to get into central Bath on the bus and the views from our room were beautiful, especially at sunset. The only issue we had was that this hotel was advertised on hotels.com as having a/c and, upon arrival during the heatwave, we were told that our specific room did not actually have working a/c. We were provided with a small fan, but the temperature gauge on the wall often showed the room to be close to 89 degrees or above. Any other time of the year I’d definitely stay here again as they even have heated floors in the bathroom…but we didn’t need those on this trip!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights after we got married (mini-moon) and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. The room was amazing - we opted for a delux room - and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We only used the pool & spa facilities once, but it was nice. It was clean and everything you would want from a pool and spa. Unfortunately there were a lot of children splashing about in it for us to enjoy it fully. Maybe to have adult only pool time would be something we would suggest. The food and drinks were again what you would expect from hotel of this standard, with plenty of options available. The location to the centre of Bath and the sites were very welcoming. 8-10 mins from the City Centre and main train station and a 20 minute walk to The Cicle and Royal Crescent. Who could ask for more. We loved every minute of our stay at this hotel and Bath. We will definitely be going back at somepoint in the near future. Highly recommended."

"Amazing host (I think it’s Louise’s daughter instead of Louise), gave me great recommendations, super welcoming to guests. The room and property have a homey feeling, super duper clean, also very well set up - had the best sleep I’ve had across 2 weeks in the UK across various accommodations, also very spacious. Most importantly, the room has a small but strong fan and a ceiling fan, which made it very comfy on a summer night. It’s also close to Alexandra Park which has a lookout to the entire Bath town centre! Thanks for making my one night in Bath extra smooth!"

"Booked through Hotels.com. Sadly the room advertised wasn’t the room we felt we got. Booked executive got deluxe. Room was nice. But very high windows which unless you were 6ft you couldn’t see out. Room was well decorated. Bed was very comfy. Nice temperature in room. Bathroom was nice. Room was a little dark near desk for getting ready, Breakfast room looked very nice. Well laid out buffet. Breakfast looked lovely but a little cold. Coffee was great. Would like to stay again. Hopefully it would turn out a little better. Didn’t use the pool facilities."
