"The staff at this hotel was rude and inappropriate. We booked the hotel because the plain was delayed and we would have been unable to pick up the car rental. I had the hotel booked while I was on the airplane getting ready to take off 5- 10 minutes the plane turned around and canceled the flight. I called the hotel immediately and let them know I needed to cancel the reservation because the flight got canceled. The lady was extremely rude and said to deal with it with hotels.com and hung up on me. I did just that and hotels.com said they would needed the hotel to sign this wavier. They would not pick up the phone for hotels.com. They then started to again bumbled me with messages saying I can’t cancel within 24 hours at this point it had only been 15 minutes since I made the reservation. Then about 5 days later with no response from hotels.com or this hotel. I called and spoke to the manager about the situation and he was rude kept cutting me off and getting loud with me. I have not ever felt so disrespected from a hotel. We were on our way to my husband mother’s funeral. I offered to show them all the flight cancellations and whatever they needed to help me but no. They rather be rude and have no empathy, and greedy. I will never book with this hotel again and I hope their business runs into the ground, they will get what they deserve karma is a *****. "

"We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn and had such a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and their kindness truly stood out during our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what made the biggest difference was how genuinely caring the team was. It’s rare to find customer service that feels so personal and sincere anymore. We are very thankful for the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!"

"Hotel very much needs an upgrade of shared areas, where despite the signs, there is a strong smell of tobacco and weed. Room was clean and seviceable if rather dark decor, bedspreads need an upgrade. The owners are obviously hard working and keen that rooms should be up to standard.l, which they are, judging by mine (bedspread apart). Car necessary but there's a Denny's actoss the busy road, a useful plus. O'hare just minutes away. It's a serviceable motel. No breakfast"

"When I checked in, the room smelled overwhelmingly of bleach or clorox. The window was screwed shut so I had to sit in the room for an hour with the door open to air it out. After an hour I had to go out to get rid of a headache from the smell. I returned after midnight and the room still smelled. Tried to sleep through it but it was unbearable. The bed only had a thin top sheet, no ac/heater that I could see and the walls were so thin, I could hear everything above and next door. No towel rails anywhere so you had to hang towels from coat hangers. At three am I was still awake so I gave up and drove the 5 hours home."

"Booked a non smoking room, room obviously smelled of smoke. In the 2-3 hours we were there, people were yelling, fighting, and you can hear EVERYTHING, including every car that drives by on the road. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Hotel refused to work with us on a refund when the room they provided was not matching what we booked."

"This not a save place people screaming at other people at midnight, three in the morning and four in the morning. No security no lights on property after midnight. I do not understand why Expedia puts it out on their sit. Rooms are not clean right. Cigarettes burn holes on curtains, bedding and floor. Floor not swept. Air conditioning did work. The parking lot is small and other business use the driveway to park making it hard to leave. Rates are hourly, weekly and monthly. Price was not worth it. "
