Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was decent: clean and great bathroom, but had a funky smell and an older, loud air conditioning unit that made it hard to circulate air and sleep through the night (loud). Overall, a solid if not fantastic option in Escanaba.

Rooms are clean and comfortable you can tell that it is an older hotel and could use some updating. Complimentary breakfast leaves some to be desired but not a reason to avoid staying here again. Quiet even with lots of people staying and right off main road through town.

It was pet friendly, close to town..room was not what we expected..toilet loose on floor...tub drain clogged barely drained,bath sink clogged i unclogged it...vanity counter falling down near front right side...room dirty but looked fair..we paided for 2 days left after 1 nite went to another motel...was non refundable..word to all be sure of what your paying for they wont refund if your unused days...

Very friendly staff!! Room was very clean, albeit slightly dated. Looks like they are making upgrades. Hotel is close to everything and only 6 minute drive from the airport. We didn’t get to try the breakfast as we flew out very early. A great deal for the price—would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay was for one night. Escanaba was the halfway point of our road trip. We chose Travelodge because it is pet friendly, and included a continental breakfast. One of our travelers loves the waffle maker, so that is an important criteria. Well, the waffle maker was labeled “broken out of order“. The danish, muffins and bagel were stale. Food choices were very slim. Our room was just ok. It was clean. My bed had a big dip on the side where I like to sleep and was very squeaky and clunky. Pillows went flat quickly, which is not my preference. We didn’t have time to use any of the other amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in and when we checked out. We had great service. They are the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2. I wouldn’t stay here again.
