The hotel was secure and clean and offered use of a kitchen too. The hot water was excellent in the shower and honestly everything you needed was provided in a modern and comfortable setting.

Riding the BVRT end to end and this was our overnight half way stop over. Room was clean, spacious and ideal for what we needed with a comfortable bed. Owners provided us with a lock up room for our bikes which was appreciated.

On a bike ride and stayed at Esk overnight. Accomodation satisfactory. Issues with reception as under construction and premises recently sold to new owners at the Esk Caravan Park. All sorted with a phone call.

Loved the place. Lisa the owner was very friendly and helpful, the room was light, bright with a home-like decor (as opposed to corporate generic), and had a rainfall shower. It’s in a quiet location opposite a park. We stayed 3 nights and have nothing but praise and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Cosy room

We arrived late afternoon as arranged to find the whiteboard showing our designated room, with the key in the door. The room had undergone progressive renovation. The room was tastefully decorated and the hot chocolate was a nice touch. The couple taking advantage of the outdoor heated spa seemed to be enjoying themselves, in spite of the cold night.The shower mixer handle would have been better if it was a pull out arrangement, as was the hand basin, instead of pushing in towards the wall. We would consider staying here again.

Nice stay in a gorgeous town

A nice overnight stay for the family before a day at Wivenhoe. The room was a great size for the family of four, with a playground just across the road to keep the littlies amused when not exploring town. Shower was superb and overall a lovely stay in a gorgeous town.

It is the worst equipped motel I have ever stayed in - the tv was not working properly - there were only 2 small tsps in cupboard - no plates etc - there was no help from office regarding any maps etc and it was very noisy - paper thin walls and loud water noise during the night - a real disapointment
