"Very well-stocked, spacious cottage perfect for large groups (we were a group of 9 adults).Our host Atti was very responsive and attentive -- we had a small issue with the oven and a technician was quickly on-site to help resolve the issue.Amenities are amazing -- spacious hot tub, nice dry sauna, and fantastic view of Lake Simcoe."

"The property is amazing and we’re a very group. Neda was very welcoming and helped throughout the process. For the large garbage disposal was a bit of concern but I all went well. We also hired the boat and it was just great experience. Overall my rating is 5* ! I fully recommend the place."

"Perfect spot right on the water. Very picturesque! We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were comfortable, the shower hot, and the buffet breakfast in the morning was very good! Would love to spend more time in the area, seems really beautiful!"

"The Briar Resort is very charming & quaint. It has a lot of history & character. We had an excellent salmon dinner our first night & daily breakfasts were good. It was disappointing that the pool & hot tub were not working. There were no spa services available. No communication in advance by the resort or Expedia was given about this."

"We only stayed one night but it was exactly as described. Very peaceful and comfortable. The host was easy to deal with, excellent communication and quick to respond. We hope to stay again in the future for a longer period to take advantage of the amenities i.e. the meet and great with the horses"
