"The staff were very pleasant & accommodating. The elevator was a bonus & I was happy to have a trolley to load our heavy luggage. Pool & hot tub appeared clean. The room was a good size & bed was comfortable in spite of needing updating. The recliner chair was difficult to get out of because the foot would not close easily. The shower nozzle is low; I’m 5’7” & had to lean back to shampoo. Not certain why, but hot water isn’t on demand during all hours. The heater/air-con works very well. Hill City lives up to its name in the parking lot as it is quite an incline & can be a challenge for people with limited mobility. We didn’t eat the limited breakfast items, but basic fare of toast, cereal, pancakes, hard boiled eggs, yogurt & donuts were available. Overall our stay was okay but not up to our best expectations."
