"It was an absolutely ideal stay near Athens airport for the night before our flight home. It has everything needed and more. We were expecting one of those airport functional chain hotels and were surprised that it was much more. Marina welcomed us at the entrance, she was so nice and helpful and kind and gave us all the information to make our short stay a pleasant one. It is a small hotel, 9 units, they are not big, but very comfortable, with a/c, tv, coffee machine, fridge, modern large shower. There is a free shuttle to the airport and even a free ahuttle to a seafood restaurant on the nearest beach! The rooms are surrounding a lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy soring, with flowers, herbs and fruit trees. My partner had a cold when we arrived, so we could make fresh tea with lemon and mint from the garden. We had an early flight, and couldnt make it for breakfast, so Lucy kindly brought us a breakfast basket in the evening that had just what we needed to start our day. No need to add - we warmly recommend the place and the staff ❤️"

"The shuttle service was convenient to and from the airport. The bathroom needs updating/renovation. The towels had lots of lints left all over my body and face."

"This was the perfect place to get some sleep in between my late night flight from Santorini Monday night, and my Tuesday flight back to the US. No steps to climb after traveling all day, which was a plus for me as I was so exhausted. I had forgotten my travel fan, but the suite had a lovely mini-split AC unit, so I actually got about 9 hours of much needed rest! I used Uber (taxi) and it only took about 15-20 minutes to get there. Highly recommend for a quick overnight without paying astronomical $$ at airport hotels!"

"From the check in to the check out process, everything went very smoothly. The hotel arranged for our pick up at Larissa station late at night and the free airport shuttle was a welcome relief after weeks of travel. The place was spacious and clean. Perfect for 4 adults with big suitcases. Though we did not need the kitchen and laundry amenities, it was nice to have it."

"I have never paid so much for a hotel that had so little to offer. The room was absolutely lacking in color and detail; everything but the duvet was grey. But what really disturbed me was the fact that the pool was not operating. No reason was provided for this. I was really looking forward to a good swim before a 12-flight. The restaurants were nearly empty and it was easy to understand why; the prices were exorbitant. For $500 US per night, you'd think they could at least include breakfast in the fee. ILike most guests, I simply walked back to the airport and bought food there. Given that the Sofitel is the ONLY airport hotel, they are able to get away with charging so much for so little."

"The apartment was very nice, very modern. It included an eating area, living room, bedroom, and kitchen. The decor was very nice. We only spent one night there but wish we had found this property sooner and spent more time there. Restaurants within walking distance and on-site parking. If we plan another trip to Athens, we will stay there again. "

"This is not a hotel but a professionally managed Airbnb. That's fine - I just didn't know and for my particular situation - would have chosen otherwise. While I had immediately reached out after booking to arrange my ride to the airport, there was a disconnect between that arrangement and details needed for check in. Because I was traveling internationally and had limited wifi/email/phone access, I didn't get the check in instructions. They didn't send them until the afternoon of checking in. Overall, they just didn't communicate in a timely manner. It made for a stressful check in. Further, the location address and the actual address are not correct - leaving us (and our taxi driver) VERY confused and frankly worried we had been scammed. Lastly, the room was fine - but not worth the money. I was so disappointed it makes me mad just to think about it. The towels were so low quality they felt like sandpaper, they didn't actually clean/restock the coffee supplies, the card need to access the electricity is connected to the 4 keys needed to get into the building. Why does this matter? Because in order to lock your room door - you had to use a key, but you couldn't see to lock the door because you didn't have power because the key card was connected to the keys. God forbid there was a fire. OH also - one of the room windows was a window to the hallway - which had a shade but you could see through it. It was all low quality and a sad way to end a wonderful trip in greece."

"I had initially asked if I could checkout later on as my flight was delayed, the host had mentioned I could stay until 1 pm, but I offered to pay for staying longer (4 pm) checkout, he asked for £45, as soon as we got to the property he asked me to pay it upfront, the room he gave me had no view, the glass door was against the wall, I asked him if he could give me a crib to take outside (the patio) during the day so that my daughter could be playing in it safely he refused and told me that the crib if he were to even consider giving it to me had to stay inside, I said but the room is very dark and has no view, he replied “you have a view” and just walked away, the next day I found out that my flight was cancelled so I asked him at 7 am if I could just checkout the original time and get my refund as I had to find another accommodation that was more suitable for my daughter, he told me he would only consider giving me half the money back and I had to leave at 1 pm, I said that’s ok, when he came to bring the money he asked me very rudely and almost as if he was accusing me of being dishonest “if I had paid the £10 a day city tax” which he did not mention the first night, I said I didn’t think expedia would have not charged me for it already, he asked me to send him the receipt, as my phone had no battery I told him I will, he went upstairs and kept messaging me asking to send it, long story short he got to keep the money and I checked out at 2, very unprofessional and greedy."
