Wooded Retreat in the hills of Fairbanks

Elegant 3-bedroom, 2-bath house in a serene natural setting, perfectly situated for aurora viewing from the house, front porch, or deck. We’re 13 miles from the Fairbanks and North Pole amenities, restaurants, & shops. Only 20-25 minutes to Eielson AFB & Ft Wainwright, we are an ideal location for work, relaxation, adventure or all three! In-unit laundry!

Welcome to your serene getaway! This charming retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and comfort with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all within an inviting open floor plan.

The main level features a spacious wrap-around porch, ideal for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a quiet evening. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen, a convenient laundry area, and a vaulted ceiling living room that enhances the sense of openness. A cozy office nook and a 4-season sun room provide stunning Aurora views without the chill, making it a year-round haven.

Upstairs, the two additional bedrooms include a master suite complete with a jacuzzi tub. This retreat is designed for ultimate relaxation and comfort, making it the perfect escape from everyday life.

The whole house is yours to enjoy.

4WD or AWD and good winter tires are highly recommended during winter months. (moderately-steep driveway)

Please keep windows closed and keep the thermostat between 68-70 degrees. Thermostat changes will be gradual and temps will take hours to adjust.

Please note that if you would like to utilize the outdoor fire pit area we do NOT provide fire wood. We have an emergency supply of firewood on the property that is only to be used if instructed to do so by our management team in the case of a winter storm emergencies. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

The indoor wood burning stove is for emergency heat use during winter storm emergencies ONLY. If the wood burning stove is required for emergency heat a member of management will come to the home to start it for safety reasons. Please DO NOT light a fire in the wood burning stove yourself!

The kitchen wall oven is currently OUT OF ORDER. There is a free standing stove/oven available for cooking/baking purposes.

Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. These options will be presented to you after booking via our Guest App.

Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected.

***For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers license, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. The one time insurance fee for stays 30-90 nights it will be an additional $750, 30-180 nights would be $1000, 30-270 nights would be $1250, and 30-364 nights would be $1500***

For reservations longer than 30 days, we charge a doubled cleaning fee due to the increased time and effort required for maintaining the property. This additional fee helps ensure the space is thoroughly cleaned after an extended stay.

If you borrow it, return it
If you turn it on, turn it off
If you break it, fix it
If you use it, take care of it
If you make a mess, clean it up
If you move it, put it back

NO PETS ALLOWED
-Due to allergies we do not allow pets of any kind in the home

No Smoking Please
-Damages will be incurred if found that there has been smoking
-This home is NOT 420 Friendly
-All smoking must be done away from the house (in the driveway) not near any doors or windows where smoke may drift into the home

Quiet Hours are from 9pm to 8am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.

No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.

Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Smoking in the house or in an area where it can drift inside: $250-$500
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Additional guests beyond what was approved when booking: $35 per guest, per day
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100-$250
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value
