"The room was what was to be expected and for the price it was nice. I have stayed in more expensive places that were less impressive. I will say that I paid in advance and was nice made aware of a policy that includes charging my card BEFORE I stay in the room and as if they are assuming I’m going to break all the motel rules. The women wasn’t the most polite and told me she’d be charging my card again (even though I already paid) and that I would be refunded at their discretion. Onenote she made was that I’d be charged if the room smelled like cigarette smoke. But when we walked in the room already had a slight cigarette smoke smell to it. So I was charged an extra $50 that I may never get back because they just chose to keep it. What was even more off-putting as was her carelessness attitude about explaining this to someone who clearly had no idea about this policy. I can understand leaving something on file Incase I destroy the room. To charge someone ahead of time before they do something wrong is just an awful idea and when I explained this policy to others I know, they also said how strange it is, especially when the motel can, again, decide to hold my extra money ON TOP of what I paid, just because they want to. I left a dirty diaper in the garbage in the room, are they keeping my $50 because I had to change my baby? Who knows! They didn’t explain it. For the $65, it’s a great place to stay, to pay $115 however, (especially if I’m not refunded) I would go elsewhere. "

"We have been staying at this BW for many years as we frequent the area. The hotel is undergoing renovations and we were in a room that was recently completed. While it was clean/spotless, the water pressure in the shower was low and lacking hot water. There were no hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms especially noticeable by the shower. The new lamps are stylish yet have little function. The beds had previously been equipped with high intensity reading lamps which looked hastily removed(literally broken off)and replaced with lamps that don’t allow for reading in bed. The climate control in the room was inconsistent As for the hotel itself, the “heated pool” was no warmer than the air temp and the hot tub(a big draw) has been removed. The place overall is clean, the staff attentive, the breakfast was good and the recently added seating outdoors is very nice. Hoping to see the hot tub return and the newly renovated rooms to be over the “growing pains” when we passing through again. "

"Good location, rooms are very simple, clean, but weathered. No breakfast, only coffee. No shampoo. Overall a decent low budget stay."

"The room was decent but very small. The bathtub kept getting clogged. Sometimes the water didn’t run clean, it felt slimy. The check-in staff was not welcoming at all and very rude!! The staff member that checked me in, actually told me that the scanning ID machine doesn’t like certain states. What???? Smh…. not sure about the gym, but the pool was small. Parking was fine and breakfast was amazing. Thank God for breakfast. "

"We had the most wonderful, comfortable stay for my wife’s 50th birthday! It was such a treat to bring our dog along for a cozy, leisurely getaway. The house was spotless, and the host was incredibly accommodating, super friendly and always quick to communicate. Our dog especially loved the fenced-in backyard, where she could run around and get some exercise. Truly one of our best vacations to date!"

"The house was clean and just as described. The property was in a great location. Sarah was a pleasant host and an excellent cook. We enjoyed her cooking for dinner on our first night. We will definitely be back again. "
