"My stay was excellent. My room was on the 2nd floor right side, next to the window...big enough for a family of 3. This was a solo/business trip for me and the room has an excellent dining room and meeting/living room with a very nice view if you love green. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic-freakin-tastic--drop a $20 on the table for the fam. Will stay there whenever I go back up th Limerock Park. The drive to and from Limerock is a dream if u know what u doin...and ya gotta go to...

"Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. "A charming old manor from the Gilded Age, thoughtfully updated and modernized without losing the soul of the original home. Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room. "Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!"
