Fayette Springs House--Rustic Luxury close to trails, whitewater and winery!

  • This cozy, one bedroom cottage includes a great room with vaulted ceiling, galley kitchen and two tiered deck for outdoor lounging. The rustic luxury of the decor and ambiance is perfect for a discerning couple or small family that is looking for a brief or extended getaway to the Ohiopyle area. Sleeps 2 comfortably. The Springs House is directly adjacent to the C.W. Klay Winery, 10 minutes from downtown Ohiopyle, and minutes from Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa and Lady Luck Casino.

    A limited supply of firewood is provided from October through March.

    THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 2200 FEET ELEVATION. WE DO PLOW; HOWEVER, GUESTS SHOULD HAVE A 4WD VEHICLE TO STAY HERE FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 31!

Great place to stay near Ohiopyle. Off the main road but very easy to find. The amenities were just what we needed for a long weekend and were accurately described prior to booking.

We loved this cozy cabin! It was clean and comfortable and just as described and pictured. Also nicely landscaped. We especially enjoyed the deck. Owner was very kind and responsive.

Charming property! The wood stove was so cozy. Enjoyed the 2 tier deck and saw a wild turkey snd some deer. Wonderful location!

Good nice quiet location with pretty forest view out back. The pictures represent well the property which we enjoyed. The tub shower was problematic with the shower curtain nearly falling off due to mis-sized screws, and difficult to stand in due to curved bottom and shower curtain inside. While we were there the smoke alarm went off for no apparent reason. The local caretaker had to come and take it away since it could not be turned off.

Between Almost Nowhere and Almost Heaven lies an adorable log cabin in chalk hill, PA. super clean, super cozy, great sheets, excellent mattress and really good pillows. There is lots to do in this area and this log cabin is very centrally located to all of it. They also have a bbq and the the sounds of a stream in the back. A lovely outdoor space to sit and absorb nature.

We love staying in the Fayette springs cabin! We enjoy the wood burning fireplace and love the proximity to restaurants and the winery. We had everything that we needed. This is our second time staying at the cabin. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful rustic cabin in the mountains! The cabin was just perfect for my husband and I to get away for 4 days. Many outdoor activities in close proximity. Ohiopyle State Park 20 minutes away. The house is comfortable, nice bedroom and living room, and wonderful decks surrounded by nature. Very well kept property. The house was cleaned overall, the kitchen could use a more detailed cleaning, specially the glassware and silverware. All the amenities as described were there. Communication with the hosts was excellent! An awesome place to stay in any season!

If you’re looking for a place to truly exhale, this cabin in the Laurel Highlands delivers. It’s rustic in the best sense — nothing fussy, nothing pretentious, just the essentials done right. We had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t.The real star? The deck overlooking a babbling stream. I could have spent the entire trip right there with a cup of coffee and zero apologies. The sound of the water was better than any white noise machine I’ve ever tried, and the view was pure medicine.The quiet here is the kind you don’t realize you’ve been craving until you’re in it. And the location is excellent — easy access to everything the Highlands has to offer without sacrificing the feeling of being tucked away from it all.Highly recommend. Already thinking about going back.

Relaxing weekend in the woods!

This cabin was SO peaceful! Perfect spot for visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's Western PA masterpieces. The cabin was clean, well-stocked (in terms of kitchen supplies) and cozy. I hope to return to this tranquil setting soon.

The location is fantastic and sitting out on the porch was wonderful. This place needs some attention:*the stove top doesn't heat properly*the dishwasher doesn't clean well and we handwashed all the dishes because they were so gross when we arrived*the shower/bathtub is dangerously slippery and there are no handles for climbing in and out. This should be addressed asap

Ideal weekend getaway for young couples

This property was perfect for our trip out of the city. The property is private and cozy and accessible to tons of hiking spots. We'll be booking for the summer for sure

Quant and cozy

We really enjoyed our time here! Everything was provided as expected and the location was extremely quiet. We especially loved the sheets, they were so soft! Just a short drive to Ohiopyle and many great places to eat. Highly recommend!

This was a great cabin property that is walking distance from a winery - but was for me even greater for allowing quick access to Ohiopyle (hiking) and Morgantown (WVU graduation weekend at a very affordable rate). The cabin was clean and well-maintained, the decks were very nice for enjoying the peaceful creek below. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home felt very safe - I’d definitely stay again in the future.
