Zen House is conveniently located just off Route 40 in Farmington, PA and offers a serene mountain setting minutes from all of our local attractions. The name says it all…a place to relax and unwind. A massage chair awaits you. When you’re ready to venture out you will find shopping featuring over 100 local artisans, concert venue and a winery nearby. Local history surrounds you in every direction. During your stay you will enjoy the conveniences of home such as a kitchen complete with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, two spacious living room areas, an outdoor grill, firepit, hammock, a covered porch to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail and a basement game area. Games provided are ping pong, foosball, corn hole, badminton, as well as an assortment of small board games and books. We also provide baby gates, utensils, high chair, booster seat and pack n play portable crib. Insurance protection is available instead of refundable security deposit upon request for $59.

We had such an amazing stay at Zen house! The house was so warm and cozy and so clean and spotless. The hosts have thought of everything and offered every amenity that you could possibly imagine. We definitely plan on coming back soon!!

Zen House - a quiet place to relax

This is a beautiful house in a gorgeous area! The host is very friendly and gracious, and so are the locals. We could not have asked for better accommodations while in the area - everything we needed for a wonderful vacation was already here when we arrived. We definitely hope to get to come and visit again sometime!

Relaxing stay

Nice place for a relaxing stay. Lots of space to hang out. Convenient location for Ohiopyle with lots of restaurant choices close by. Home had all the amenities we needed and communication with host was great.

Clean, Organized, Great Spot

This place was cleaner than a number of chain hotels in which I have stayed. There's a lot nearby to do as well, you're basically in the Ft. Necessity National Park.

Great Stay!

I had the most pleasant stay at the Zen House! It is secluded and quiet. I was the only one staying but this would be an excellent place for families. Big beautiful house with many fun things available to do there. Also, very convenient to local attractions such as Nemacolin. The property owners were very graious and helpful with all of my questions, too. Just a great stay all around!

We enjoyed our stay here at this peaceful and spotless home. Everything was wonderful! Tricia could not have been more accommodating and helpful. She went out of her way to acknowledge my latex allergy with this rental. Very impressed on all accounts.

Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. There was a small issue with the water pressure declining, but the owner was extremely responsive and had the problem fixed very quickly. It was definitely a great stay for our family. Thank you.

House was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area. Very nice property, there is a steep step-up to get to the garage door where the lockbox is. An interim step between the ground and the higher platform would have made it much easier for us to enter that door.

Great for our Girls Getaway

The perfect spot for our friend get-away, remote enough that it was quiet and serene, but still near major roads, shops, and cafes. We had 5 girls getting ready so the bathrooms and plentiful mirrors were MUCH appreciated. Fans upstairs were so nice for our summer trip as well. Was really perfect and convenient for our needs, seems like everything was thought through very carefully and the place was cozy and clean as well. Would highly recommend.

Zen House weekend

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend. The owner was responsive to our questions. It was centrally located with Ohiopyle just minutes away as well as Laurel Caverns. We relaxed with a glass of wine after grilling outside out at the fire place and we would definitely go back to the Zen again.

This house was actually more than we needed but perfect at the same time. The house had everything we needed and much more. I really wish we had booked a longer stay so we could have enjoyed more that the house had to offer. The location was perfect! The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was suoer nkce and the check-in was extremely easy.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this well-appointed house. It looked really new and it was very clean. The living areas were spacious with lots of comfortable seating for the 5 of us. The kitchen was big enough so that we could cook together. The front porch was a wonderful place to hang out and watch the sun set. The foosball table in the basement was a big hit. Cute shops within walking distance. Private drive to walk your dog and no other houses nearby made for a peaceful stay.Everyone agreed we'd love to return and explore more of the nearby attractions like Ohiopyle State Park and Falling Water.

Very Relaxing Stay

The house was nice, the firepit was great, overall a 5 star stay for our family. There were games, cards, and toys for the kids. We visited many local attractions- Fallingwater, Yogi Bear Campground/ Waterpark, Fort Necessity, Ohiopyle, and Laurel Caverns. The only downside was we were too early in the season for the local farmers market and the nearest grocery store was in Uniontown. There was a Dollar General close by, but they didn't have any fresh produce.

Lovely Home/Great Location/Impressed!

Dogs & I enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to walk dog. Great rental and location to ohiopyle, shops/ bike trail. Roomy house with 2 living areas, Kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms & furnished basement with couch chairs, card table /cards/ games. Upstairs games, cards, puzzles/puzzle board, many books. Extremely well supplied with many necessities for young children:such as high chair, gates, stairs and porch have clips to hook gates. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, extras & tools for cookouts/grill. Outdoor Adirondack chairs & large table in garage w/4 chairs and a ping pong table. Cooking & storage dishes, pots/pans,etc. Wine cooler. Full frig. cleaning supplies. Washer/dryer. So much supplies I can’t name them all. Great for family or 2 couples (or singles). Meant for multiple people to really enjoy themselves while visiting. Don’t miss the shops below house. Fantastic crafts and artwork and antiques. Great coffee shops/restaurants very close: Bittersweet; Fuel Cofe Works; Maywood Grille and also plenty at Ohiopyle.Confluence is worth the trip as Rivers Edge Cafe is fantastic. And Frank Lloyd Wrights homes. I’d definitely return in the future especially with friends. Thanks for hosting such a pleasant home.

Nice House with awesome shopping to walk to

This house is very nice and it's easy to find. You can hear the Rt 40 traffic when outside but it's not horrible. Loved that we could park in the garage since it did snow/rain the time we were there. The ping pong table is in the garage. There is room in the basement game room so not sure why it's not there so it can be used year round. There are many other games provided which is nice. There is only 1 bedroom with a TV so keep that in mind. There is an ice maker in the kitchen which is nice. My husband loved the massage chair. The shower pressure is very low so showering wasn't great. The firewood isn't covered so it's best to take your own dry wood. The house is over all very nice and we would go back if it wasn't for the showering issue. It is very clean and it's a nice layout. Kitchen was nicely stocked with supplies. Make sure to go shop at the business that is in front of the house. They have so many vendors and a wide array of items. Something for everyone and you can walk from the house to the shops.
